Server events

Server events are jobs that track certain events related to entities and, if triggered, perform certain actions. There are server events that are common for all entities and entity-specific server events. Server events happen on the server side.

  Note

In Xpand Portal version 4.0.0.0 and later, server events are temporarily hidden from backoffice users until further notice. 

To view known server events

  1. Go to Media > Site settings > Entities. Server events that common for all entities are shown next to Known events.

    At present, the following server event is used:

    1. track-changes-for-notifications - This event tracks changes in records and, if necessary, runs the required background task that creates corresponding notifications for members.
  2. To view know server events for a specific entity, select an entity: the known server events are shown next to Known events if any.
