Customizing portal theme

Xpand Portal provides you with the ability to create a custom theme. Themes allow you to change the look and feel of the portal. In a custom theme, you can change the font, color, and other properties for most UI elements of the portal.

A portal theme consists of the following elements:

• Theme design package – A CSS file that defines the basic elements of the theme, location, text font, and color of various UI elements. These theme elements cannot be edited from CMS.
• Custom settings – Theme settings that allow you to customize various theme elements, including text font and color. These settings are configured directly in CMS for every theme.

Wen you are creating a custom theme, you need to choose a theme design pack that will be used as a theme basis, and then configure properties for the theme elements that you want to change.

After you create a custom theme, you will be able to apply it in the site localization settings, in the Theme field.
