Copying field value

You can copy a field value of any field on grid pages. A field value can be copied regardless of whether the grid page is in the edit mode. This feature is especially useful when a grid page is in the view mode, because in this mode you cannot select a field value to copy it with the CTRL+C Windows command.

  Note

This feature is always available on any grid page; there's no need to turn it on in CMS.

To copy a field value

  1. Open a grid page.
  2. Select and hold (or right-click) a value that you want to copy, and then select COPY.

      Note

    You can also do this when the grid editing is enabled, but it's not necessary. 
  3. Use CTRL+V to paste the value wherever you need it.
